Respect and Privacy are valued in meetings. We are here to build each other up not tear each other down. We also must respect that we are all at different stages of our lives. While this group is meant for people of legal age, youth are encouraged to contact us with any questions or concerns. We are happy to help direct to appropriate services that youth and anyone may need. If you are not in the local(Kingston/Belleville ON) area, you are still welcome to take part and ask for support. We are happy to help connect folx to resources we may have in your area.

CTSC is a compassionate and dedicated support group and service development program tailored specifically for survivors who have endured the deeply traumatic experience of conversion “therapy” in Canada. Our primary mission is to extend a warm and nurturing embrace to survivors, offering them a sanctuary of safety, unwavering support, and the utmost respect.

This project was created with a Survivor Centric Approach. We believe that the Survivors should be at the core of the system that supports them. Who knows our experiences better than us! If you have any questions about our Survivor Centric Support or how to get involved please visit our contact page

Support National Awareness Day

Dear friends and fellow citizens,

We have a critical opportunity to make our voices heard and advocate for an important cause. We are calling on all Canadians to contact their local Members of Parliament and request that January 7th be recognized as Conversion Therapy Awareness Day.

This day is a time to educate the public, celebrate the resilience of survivors, and remember those we have lost to these harmful practices.

Why is this important?

1. Honor and Remember: Recognizing this day acknowledges the pain and trauma endured by survivors while paying tribute to those who did not make it through.

2. Educate and Inform: National Conversion Therapy Awareness Day would provide an opportunity to educate the public on the dangers of conversion therapy and the importance of affirming and supporting LGBTQ2S+ individuals.

3. Celebrate Progress: It is a chance to celebrate the resilience of survivors and the ongoing efforts to create a more inclusive and compassionate society.

Take Action Today:

We urge you to contact your local MP and ask them to support the establishment of January 7th as National Conversion Therapy Awareness Day. Your voice matters and can help ensure that this vital day is officially recognized across Canada.

Together, we can amplify the voices of survivors, increase awareness, and foster a society where everyone is free to live as their authentic selves.

Let’s make a difference—reach out to your MP today!
